Sexy Beast 2022 July Kickoff

Sexy Beast is a benefit to raise essential funds for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles (PPLA). Led by a team of key individuals in the arts and entertainment, this coalition brings together the skills and experience of Los Angeles' creative communities in support of reproductive rights and accessible healthcare. On July 30, Sexy Beast returns to Los Angeles with a kickoff event at Night Gallery North from 5–8pm. The event will be hosted by comedian and writer Christina Catherine Martinez and will include a performance by Purity Ring, with additional entertainment to be announced. Excitingly, Andrea Marie Breiling is the featured artist of Sexy Beast 2022, and her artwork will be an essential contribution to overall fundraising efforts.

Sexy Beast has raised over 1.5 million dollars for PPLA since its founding in 2014. The current political climate has spurred a renewed sense of urgency to protect reproductive freedom and bring attention to inequalities in reproductive healthcare. After a four year hiatus, Sexy Beast makes its comeback in support of the life-saving services provided by PPLA, united by the steadfast belief in full bodily autonomy for all people.

One hundred percent of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to PPLA. The national situation regarding access to reproductive healthcare is complex and evolving rapidly, making PPL’s work more critical than ever before.
